Sunday, Apr. 28: Why is this Passover different from all others?
with Rabbi Moshe Heyn
Passover is traditionally a joyful holiday that commemorates the Israelites' escape from slavery in Egypt, but it is also a liberation story which can be interpreted on many levels. We might imagine ourselves to still be wandering through the wilderness, with the promise of freedom seeming less certain than ever. The conflict in the Middle East, the worsening climate crisis, and growing political divides on many fronts might leave us feeling lost. What guidance can Passover offer us, a mixed multitude, on this journey?
Mary Poppins, starring Eliza LaPaglia, tickets are available here.
