Alternative Gift Faire for our Partner Church in Ulay
The Alternative Gift Faire supports UUSM’s Partner Church in Ulay on Negros Island in the Philippines.
A gift given in the name of a friend or relative, as an alternative to traditional holiday and other gift purchases, will send a message of love around the world. Our partner UU congregation in Ulay needs our financial support to fight hunger, educate their children, and empower their community to create and manage sustainable economic development.

Choose the Alternative Gift You Want to Give
GIVE A MEAL OR GIFT
As part of its ministry, the Ulay church provides its members with a wholesome communal meal after worship services each Sunday. Hunger and food stability are ongoing issues in
this community. A gift of just $20 provides a nutritious cooked meal for the entire congregation!
Annual Ulay Christmas Gift Boxes provide food, toiletries, school supplies, and Christmas gifts for each Ulay member family.
Suggested gift level: $20 per meal, or any amount welcome!
EDUCATION PROGRAM
Your gift will help Ulay college students with tuition and other school expenses. Twelve elementary school, 17 high school, and 5 college students currently participate in our Education Partner Program. As more students graduate and attend college, the need for our support will increase.

ECONOMIC SUPPORT
Your gift will help bring economic stability to Ulay families. Donations provide support for six NEW Pathways community Food House projects, and emergency relief when typhoons and other calamities impact our Ulay partners.
