Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a sexuality-education program for youth in grades 7 through 12. The curriculum is comprised of two separate programs – one for youth in grades 7 through 9, and another for youth in grades 10 through 12. At UUSM, these two programs are offered in alternate years.

OWL for 7th-9th Graders

This holistic program explores issues of sexuality, identity, and personal choice and responsibility for youth. OWL is more than about sharing information; this program investigates the attitudes, values, and feelings that youth have about themselves and the world while teaching compassion, respect, and justice.

OWL for 10th-12th Graders

Using a comprehensive approach, this program helps senior-high school youth gain the knowledge, life principles, and skills they need to express their sexuality in life-enhancing ways. This program includes a parent orientation and 12 sessions.
